Server-Side Appium Testing
One of the most notable new features of 2015 is Server-Side Appium Test Execution. Basically, this feature allows mobile developers to skip the configuration of desired capabilities as they would do with current client-side execution. As the name of Server-Side Appium suggests, you just need to upload your .APK or .IPA and test package to Testdroid Cloud and run parallel tests on multiple devices simultaneously. Our system behind the scene takes care of proper configuration and manages all details for desired capabilities.

New Public Cloud Pricing Starts As Low As $49/month
The new Testdroid Cloud pricing which starts at $49/month is a great entry level for any developers. To indie developers, for example, getting access to the latest Android and iOS devices, like Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge or iPhone 6S and 6S Plus requires less than 50 bucks a month. This is a great saving for small app developers who would have to pay much more to acquire the gadgets.

Integration with GameBench
Mobile game developers/testers are one of the major groups that constantly use Testdroid Cloud for checking compatibility and functionality. The integration with GameBench perfectly provides additional info for mobile game developers to analyze performance bottlenecks and monitor system resource usage, e.g. CPU, Memory, FPS, GPU, etc. Certainly, mobile app developers will also benefit from the integration if they are interested in more performance analytics.
