How to install Calabash iOS 0.11.4 to Mac OS X

Dear Testdroiders,

Some of you have asked about updating Calabash iOS and especially this may have been the case after updating the Xcode to 6.1. If this is the case, here is the quick instruction list to get your Calabash environment updated with the new version.

Quick instructions to get you up and running with Calabash iOS 0.11.4 on Mac OS X:

# Install Brew
ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)"

# Install Ruby 2.1.1
brew install rbenv ruby-build

# Add rbenv to bash so that it loads every time you open a terminal
echo 'if which rbenv > /dev/null; then eval "$(rbenv init -)"; fi' >> ~/.bash_profile
source ~/.bash_profile

# Install Ruby 2.1.1 and set it as the default version
rbenv install 2.1.1
rbenv global 2.1.1
ruby -v

As an output you should get something like this:

ruby 2.1.1p76 (2014-02-24 revision 45161) [x86_64-darwin13.0]

# Install Calabash 0.11.4
gem install calabash-cucumber
