Outfit7 chose Bitbar to optimize its CI/CD

Why did Outfit7 choose Bitbar?

In the words of Dejan Tomazic, Senior Software Engineer at Outfit7, they were looking for a complete solution to optimize continuous integration for test automation. “Bitbar has proven to have the functionalities that we were looking for right out-of-the-box. Features like an on-premise solution, with full Android and iOS support and Jenkins integration, are core functionalities that we need for our test automation implementation”, Dejan confirms.

What did you see on Bitbar that other similar solutions couldn’t provide?

When choosing Bitbar, a key factor was the flexibility in test integration with framework customization and good visual representation of test results.

What’s the main challenge Outfit7 wants to address using Bitbar?

We want to improve our process of regression testing to minimize manual QA involvement and let automation do its job. The main challenge will be to simplify the test creation process and provide a better visual representation to all our users in the company.

Customer Success Team Challenge

As with every fast-growing company, Outfit7 needs to adapt quickly to changes in the market to keep its competitiveness. Meaning frequent changes in the requirements are not unheard, but this is business-as-usual for us with fast-moving customers, points out Tuukka Tuomaala, Bitbar Customer Success Manager in charge of onboarding Outfit7 into Bitbar platform.

The single most challenging thing to solve during the implementation was getting the manual testing to work in OSX Mojave in the way Outfit7 needed, this was a novelty for us, but we got it done without any delay.

Customer success is the ultimate goal for Bitbar. We’re successful only if our clients are. The main business benefit Outfit7 is getting right away is a significant increase in the team’s productivity. Automating many steps of their QA process will lead to substantial time and resource savings, concludes Tuukka.

For Outfit7, ensuring the fun of millions of players is serious business. But with the most flexible and reliable testing platform at hand, Tom will offer countless great moments to his friends all over the world:
